The Consumer Electronic Show (CES), held this year from January 6 to 10 in Las Vegas, is the show in which professionals of new technologies reveal what they think the trends of the year.

It's not just the casinos in Las Vegas. Every year, for four days, the American capital of the game becomes mecca for techies. This year, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) should accommodate more than 120,000 visitors eager to discover what that 2011 prepared as their new gadgets.
The ESC is indeed the first great mass of the year of the new technologies sector. A passage considered essential by almost all manufacturers. More than 2,000 exhibitors meet this huge room size of 35 football fields. Their goal: to show their vision of the development sector for the coming year.
This show - unlike the CeBIT, the German equivalent - is not a treasure trove of new readily available commercially. It polishes up its prototypes, the story to your mouth water to visitors. Since it was founded in 1967, the ESC has nonetheless been the scene of major technological turning points, as the CD that was unveiled for the first time in 1981 and DVD in 1996.
